Shipping & Returns

Shortly after placing your order you will receive an automated confirmation via email. We will ship your order as quickly as possible, but please allow up to 2 business days for your order to be processed and shipped. This is in addition to shipping estimates. All processing & delivery times are quoted in business days. In the event that an item you ordered is out of stock, you will be notified via email within 48 hours and refunded for the item.

Please ensure that all your shipping details and personal information are accurate at time of checkout! We are unable to re-route packages once they have been shipped. All packages come with tracking.

We encourage anyone shopping for friends or loved ones this holiday season to do so as early as possible. Please note estimated delivery times are provided by Canada Post. We are unable to guarantee delivery by a specific date.

We do not currently ship outside of Canada & the United States. If you would like us to ship to you and live elsewhere, please email and we will do our best to accommodate!

Payment, Taxes & Duties

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Your card will be charged in Canadian dollars. You can use the currency converter located in the top right corner of our site to preview pricing in your currency. This pricing is an estimate, and ultimately your card will be charged in Canadian dollars which your bank will then convert based on the day’s exchange rate.

If you are ordering within Canada you will be charged your provincial tax rate at the time of checkout.

If you are ordering from the USA you will not be subject to taxes at the time of checkout, but additional import taxes/duties may be incurred once the package has entered your country. Hill’s Dry Goods has no control over these charges and is not responsible for any duties incurred by the purchaser as determined by customs. 


Delivery dates are an estimate as provided by Canada Post. If you are ordering from outside Canada, please keep in mind that packages may be held at the border by customs which is out of our control, and which may delay your shipping time-frame.

We do not require signatures upon receipt (unless requested) and are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. In the event that your package has not arrived, please contact us or Canada Post directly with the tracking number provided.

Holiday Returns & Refunds

Hill's Dry Goods will gladly accept the return of all merchandise that is unworn in its original packaging with tags attached. Please note shipping charges are not reimbursed for returns. Email for all enquiries.

To return your purchase via mail:

  1. Returns via mail must be initiated by December 31st, 2020.
  2. Regular priced merchandise may be returned for a full refund and sale merchandise may be returned for a store credit.
  3. We are unable to offer exchanges through mail, we recommend returning your order and placing a new order online.
  4. Email with your order number and reason for return. Once your request has been processed you will receive a return authorization code.
  5. Further return instructions will be sent at time of authorization via email.
  6. Once your return has been received and processed you will be notified by email. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.
  7. Returns shipped to us without authorization or that do not comply with our return instructions may be refused by Hill’s Dry Goods.

To return your purchase in store:

  1. Merchandise may be returned in-store for an exchange or store credit until January 7th, 2021.
  2. Regular priced merchandise may be returned in-store for a full refund until December 31st, 2020.
  3. Please bring your printed invoice along with your items for return to one of our Hill’s Dry Goods or Hill’s of Kerrisdale locations and our staff can process this for you.
  4. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
  5. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on December 24th and Boxing Day December 26th as these are peak shopping days.

While we are happy to accommodate returns in-store for online purchases we do ask for your understanding and patience as our store retail teams are working with strict health + safety protocols.  You may experience delays due to limited store occupancy but we will make every effort to expedite your return as quickly as possible.  Our online store is separate from our retail locations, all online promotions and return policies are for online purchases only.

Returns for merchandise purchased at one of our Hill’s Dry Goods or Hill’s of Kerrisdale retail store locations must be returned for refund according to our retail store policies.
